USB-C → HDMI adapter
The small dongle that keeps laptop decks and guest presentations off the scramble for the right cable.
Carry one in the host kit. Most venue suites and meeting rooms still expect HDMI into the display path. A short USB-C→HDMI adapter plus a known-good HDMI cable beats borrowing whatever is in the AV closet. Prefer a simple passive adapter you have already tested with the laptop you will use — not a multiport hub you have never powered on site.
